Adrien - human half's - appears to be of Mexican descent. His hair is a dark brown of mid length and his sideburns fade into closely cut facial hair. His eyes are a light amber and his face is specked with dark freckles.

He is well built and toned under his clothes, partly due to his body type and the copious amount of heavy lifting he has done from his teen years onward. His horse half is that of a Clydesdale, adding onto the pure strength he's capable of. His feet normally ends in feathered hair but the hair is kept under tight wraps of leg wraps he changes out every morning. The hair on his tail has a tendency of knotting and curling for no particular reason, so often times it looks quite messy - even when he takes the time to brush it out. The fur on his coat is relatively sleek and shiny, which is rather surprising considering the amount of work he does.

His clothes compose of a mandarin collar short sleeve button up overlaid with a poncho tied at the waist with a cotton rope. He covers his lower half with a horse blanket.

Biography

Early Years

A moment’s hesitation - it can mean the difference between life and death.

There was no room for feelings out in the desert. That's all he was ever told as a child.

Adrien grew up within a small band of feral, partially civilized centaurs. The group was akin to a nomadic village, lead by his father and mother. As they lived out in the harsh desert, they would hardly stick to one location. His father was particularly harsh and heavily critical of anything Adrien did that wasn't up to his standards - especially since he was his 'heir'.

The emotional neglect became too much for Adrien, the stress building on his shoulders the older he got, the closer he was to 'inheriting' the team. After a particularly nasty argument with his father, Adrien took off into the cool desert night.

Not stopping for anything, he would end up collapsing just outside a small town. A merchant would soon come across the young centaur and takes him in, getting him the help he needed from running through the desert for days straight. At first the centaur was apprehensive and mildly stand offish, but he soon befriended the merchant.

Eventually he would apprentice under the merchant and learn the trade.

Notes

  • As much as he is disliked, he is probably one of the better merchants out in the Mojave.
  • Unlike others, he pays his workers surprisingly well. Regardless of pay, no one likes working with him because of his temper.
  • He's rather protective of his workers as well.
  • Despite his aggressive temper, he has surprisingly not killed anyone.
  • He doesn't need horseshoes considering his hooves have hardened from his nomadic years, but he still wears them to separate himself as far as possible from his past.
